You don’t need another idea — you need structure, clarity and someone in your corner
That’s where I come in…
I work with writers at every stage of their manuscript — taking what they already have (the scattered notes app ideas, the half-written scenes, the draft that feels like it’s almost there but not quite) and helping shape it into a story that actually works.
I’ve spent years learning how stories actually hold together. I’ve studied two degrees in Creative Writing, Editing & Publishing, taken courses through the Australian Society of Authors and the Australian Writers Centre. I’ve interned in trad publishing houses and worked for one of Australia’s biggest Writers Festivals, where I conversed with hundreds of publishing professionals and authors. And along the way, I’ve learned exactly what makes a manuscript work.
Now it’s time to pass that knowledge to you!

Story Development Package
$250 AUD — one-off payment
For writers with ideas, messy drafts, half-formed plots, or that very real moment of sitting at your laptop thinking: ‘I know what I want this story to be… I just have no idea how to actually build it.‘
Let’s turn your idea into a real novel
A strong story isn’t written by guessing your way through it.
It’s built.
Layer by layer. Intentionally. With structure, clarity, and characters who actually know what they’re doing.
That’s exactly what this package is for.
I help you take the chaos — notes, ideas, scattered scenes, even full drafts that feel “off” — and turn it into a clear, structured, workable novel plan you can actually feel confident with, so instead of staring at a blank page, wondering what comes next, you know exactly where your story is going and why it works.
What’s included
By the end of this process, you won’t just have notes. You’ll have a complete roadmap for your novel.
This includes:
- A complete 3-act story structure plan
- A complete 1-sheet character template
- An outline of your key beats and scenes
- A timeline of your novel
- Plus so many extras!
And most importantly: You’ll stop guessing your way through your draft.
How it works
This is a focused, guided development process where I help you shape your story from concept to structure.
We work through:
- what your story is
- what it needs
- how all the moving parts connect
I’ll identify what’s working, what’s missing, and what needs to shift — then help you rebuild your story into something solid, intentional, and cohesive.
You don’t leave this feeling uncertain.
You leave knowing exactly what you’re writing.
Weekly Accountability Support
$29 AUD monthly
For writers who don’t need more advice — they need consistency, momentum, and someone in their corner while they actually write their book.
You don’t need more information. You need momentum.
Most writers don’t get stuck because they don’t know what to do.
They get stuck because:
- they lose momentum halfway through writing their first draft
- they second-guess everything
- they disappear from their own story for weeks at a time
- and suddenly… the draft feels impossible again
This is where that changes.
You’ll get a writing bestie in your pocket (who also knows story structure really, really well).
This is light-touch, ongoing support designed to keep you writing — without pressure, overwhelm, or overthinking.
What’s included
We stay connected via WhatsApp, where I offer:
- Weekly check-ins to keep you accountable and writing
- Ongoing writing support
- Quick guidance when you hit story or motivation blocks
- Encouragement and momentum support when things feel slow or messy
- A space to share wins, progress, or even just “help, this scene is chaos” moments
We can send voicenotes, memes, funny writing anecdotes, and generally just keep you motivated and excited about your story while you write!
This is not about editing.
This is not about feedback.
This is about one thing: keeping you writing.
How it works
This is designed to be simple, flexible, and easy to stay consistent with.
Once you sign up, you’ll have ongoing access to me via WhatsApp for the month.
Each week, we will check in with where you’re at — whether that’s sharing progress, talking through a sticky point, or just letting me know what you’re working on.
I’ll respond with guidance, encouragement, and any quick feedback or direction you need to keep moving forward.
There’s no formal structure you need to follow — the support adapts to your writing rhythm and whatever challenges or positives you come across.
Some weeks you might need more direction, other weeks just a quick check-in to stay on track, and some weeks you may just want to share some amazing snippets of your work with someone.
Whatever it is, I’m there in your corner while you draft — helping you stay consistent, focused, and moving forward with your story.
Accountability + Chapter Feedback
$200 AUD monthly
For writers who are already drafting — but don’t want to do it alone.
You’re writing… but is your story actually working?
You’re putting words on the page. You’re building scenes. You’re doing the thing.
But underneath it all, there’s still that quiet uncertainty:
- Is this actually working?
- Am I heading in the right direction?
- Or am I going to reach the end and realise it needs a full rewrite?
This is where I come in.
What’s included
This isn’t a ‘finish your draft and then get feedback’ situation.
This is support as you go.
Each month, you send me up to 3,000 words (usually 1–2 chapters), and I go through it in detail — not just to point things out, but to help you understand what your story is doing and how to strengthen it as it grows.
Think of it as having an editor reading alongside you, helping you shape the story in real time while also being your biggest cheerleader!
Each month, you’ll get:
- In-depth feedback on up to 3,000 words (1–2 chapters) per month
- Clear notes on structure, pacing, character, and clarity
- Light line-level suggestions only where they improve flow or readability
- Ongoing WhatsApp support for questions, sticky points, or quick guidance
This isn’t about polishing sentences or fixing commas.
It’s about the bigger picture — structure, clarity, momentum, and whether your story is actually landing the way you want it to.
We’re shaping the draft as you go, so you’re not reaching the end and realising the foundation needs reworking.
Each month you receive:
- Clear, in-depth feedback on up to 3,000 words (1–2 chapters)
- Practical notes on voice, clarity, character, and storytelling
- Light line suggestions only where they help flow or readability
- + everything offered in the weekly accountability support package!
You write → you send → I review → you refine → you continue writing with clearer direction
.
No overcomplication. No overwhelm. Just steady, supported progress on your story.

What’s the difference between the three packages?
Each package supports a different stage of your writing process:
Story Development Package ($250 one-off)
For when you’re at the beginning (or stuck mid-way) and need clarity, structure, and a full roadmap before or during drafting.
Writing Accountability ($29/month)
For ongoing encouragement, accountability, and light-touch support while you’re actively writing and want to stay consistent.
Monthly Accountability + Chapter Feedback ($200/month)
For writers who are drafting and want detailed feedback on their actual chapters as they go, plus accountability and guidance.
Can I move between packages later?
Yes — absolutely.
A lot of writers start with Story Development to build their structure, then move into either:
- Chapter Feedback for ongoing editorial support while drafting, or even come back later with my editorial services
Your writing needs change as your project evolves, and the support can evolve with you.
Plus, I’ll always offer a discount for past clients!
What if I want something else?
These packages might not be right for you, and that’s okay! Just reach out to me at soyouwroteabook@gmail.com with what you have in mind, and we can go from there.
Every writer is different, and I am more than willing to create something specifically tailored to your writing needs. 🙂
Will you rewrite my work?
Absolutely not!
The goal is always to keep your voice and help you become a stronger, more confident writer.
