Manuscript Assessment
Are you ready to start pitching to agents or publishers, but you’re nervous your book isn’t ready? Is your novel working or not working, but you’re not sure why? I’ll read through your manuscript and offer you constructive feedback in the form of a report, addressing the big-picture things such as characters, plot, and writing.
Developmental Edit
Developmental editing looks at your manuscript as a whole and focuses on improving your story’s structure, pacing, perspective, narrative style, organisation, etc. Think of it like the big-picture things that are the heart and soul of your novel. This is an in-depth process featuring manuscript mark-ups and a report.
Line Editing
Line editing focuses on the sentence level of your manuscript. Throughout this stage, I’ll use track changes and comments to ensure it is free from grammar and punctuation errors and maintains consistency in style and formatting. The emphasis is on refining the prose while ensuring your unique voice stays consistent.
Proofread/Final Edit
Proofreading is the final stage of the editing process and is all about polishing off your masterpiece. When proofreading, I’ll look at your manuscript at word level, ensuring that no formatting mistakes, grammar issues or typos remain. This is an in-depth process that should leave you feeling confident in your finished manuscript.

I’ll get back to you in 2-4 days to chat about your book, make sure I’m the right fit and figure out what kind of support you need.
Step 3
If we’re a good fit, I’ll send over your questionnaire, contract and invoice. Once everything’s sorted, your spot is officially yours.
Step 4
You send me your manuscript, and I get to work! I’ll spend your booked editing block deep in your book, with plenty of communication along the way—no disappearing into the void.
